Brian
You should be congratulated on your cd/DVD. I have been through the
show twice. Once as an observer on my computer and once as a co
participant in my theatre room with my Roland rd600. I appreciate your
making it without a keyboard so I could plug in and play along without
having to walk all over some one.
The video component was really well handled by Trey. I also thought the
editing of the video was superb.
The lighting and back drop really worked well and short of mtv budget
very clean and actively interesting without over doing the video. The
crowd mix was good. The door man did a good job of screening the crowd.

Brian, you play a beautiful as well as raging sax. Your tones are
really smooth and mellow and your rock chops are well timed.
Steve Boudreaux is steady as a rock. He looks so much like his dad
which dates me as he and I have a long history of singing about anything
you can think of from the star spangled banner to "greenback dollar"
Your [guest] vocalist Chris [Payton] is still as smooth as ever. The thing
about her that I
always remember is besides being on note her words are understandable to
me the true discrimination between a good singer and a real vocalist.
As for [Gary Hutchison].. My god where did he come from. That guy can play
the
guitar. Besides playing everything that J H could throw up and down the
neck, I loved his Joe Passesque self written solo.
I thought the balance in the mixing was superb and live recording always
tricky was very well handled.
One area that I thought could have been technically improved upon and I
think it is a touch criticism but the drum mikes could have been better.
I think a brighter symbol (sic) sound and a little more ring in the snares
would have been better but then I am high frequency hearing impaired.
So there you have it. My cents worth. Brian you guys put
together a
commendable project and It deserves to bring a lot of credit and future
success to all of you. Your strong influence and leadership really
shows in a tight group with a sound all of us around you can take pride
in saying we know those guys.
I have always admired your organization skill and to the point approach.
An unusual trait in musicians.
I hope if you have an audition for a keyboard you will give me a chance.
In the mean time please keep me informed of your musical activities.

My compliments to the rest of the band as I know you could not have done
it without them.
Isn't it interesting that I got to the end and realize I have not said
anything about the bass player. He was always there and there is not a
one guitar band that can stand on its feet without a solid bass
infrastructure holding it up. The guy is as good as 10 inch reinforced
concrete he could showcase any instrument singly put in front of him.
Keep the songs playing
"Thanks"
